Cross River records first ever cases of coronavirus

Cross River State has recorded five cases of the novel coronavirus.

The Nigeria Centre for Disease Control (NCDC) said this Monday night.

This is the first time that positive results would be confirmed in the state since the outbreak of the disease in February.

NCDC announced the development while confirming 575 new cases.

These new cases were recorded in 20 states of the federation.

The top five are Lagos-123, FCT-100, Delta-58


Edo-52, Ogun -42.

The least three are Cross River-5, Kaduna-3


Ekiti-1.

Nigeria has recorded a total of 29,286 confirmed cases and 654 deaths.

  1. Is it true? Cross river State should not rest because I can see another ksno state experience.

  2. The state should keep up to it’s protocols for COVID-19 prevention, without let up, to continue their good result of no COVID-19 cases in the state.
