COVID-19: FCT task force seals Jabi Lake Mall for violating ban

The Federal Capital Territory task force on COVID-19 has sealed up Jabi Lake Mall.

This was disclosed on FCTA official Twitter page on Sunday afternoon.

The Mall was sealed up for violating Presidential Task Force’s directive on ban of public gatherings.

The tweet reads:” The FCT Ministerial Task Team on #COVID19 seals up Jabi Lake Mall indefinitely for violating Presidential Task Force’s directives on the ban on public gatherings as part of measures to contain the spread of the dreaded pandemic in the territory.”

This is following Naira Marley’s ‘Drive-in’ concert which held on Saturday night at Jabi Lake Mall.

The event attracted criticisms from Nigerians as the attendees were clustered in a viral video while Naira Marley performed despite increase in coronavirus cases.
