The Federal Capital Territory, FCT, Authority, FCTA, has confirmed 14 new coronavirus cases in Abuja.
FCTA made the confirmation while disclosing that the capital city now has a total of 520 confirmed COVID-19 cases.
It also disclosed that 12 COVID-19 patients have been discharged as at yesterday.
In a tweet on its official handle on Tuesday, FCTA wrote: ”
” 14 new cases, 12-discharged in the FCT
“Summary of COVID-19 FCT as at May 25th, 2020.
“Total number of confirmed cases: 520
“Total number of active cases: 368
“Total discharged: 145
“Deaths recorded: 7
“Residents are urged to take preventive measures seriously. #StaySafe.”
Meanwhile, Nigeria as at Monday night had a total of 8068 confirmed COVID-19 cases.
This followed the confirmation of 229 COVID-19 cases by the Nigeria Center for Disease Control (NCDC).
